  • It's Not All About You

I love when the Lord encourages me. When taking new territory, it’s always a challenge, as any pioneer, leader or pastor can tell you. Benjamin Williams of Global Awakening recently gave this word to the congregation at Harvest Fellowship during a weekend of ministry with students from the Global School of Supernatural Ministry. I’m thankful when the Lord not only confirms what He has been speaking to us, but gives us further strategies to transform our territory.
    This is the prophetic Word:
“The Lord showed me some old roads. He showed me some roads that had bars across them – they were blocked by boards. These were old roads that hadn’t been traveled on. And God’s moving these barriers around. And He’s giving you the tools and the favor to go back down where other people have moved off and where other people have failed and couldn’t make it down the road.
God’s giving you the vehicle to make it back down these pathways, because you’re actually fulfilling the prayers of other people. That’s what you’re walking in in this church. There were people that years ago that you’ve never even met that were crying out for a move in this area and God picked you guys to fulfill that mantle. So there are promises that rest over this place. And it’s not just about them, it’s about you guys. It’s raising up a company of people that want to make a difference, raising up a company of people that know who they are and know how to give away who they are to others – knowing how to give the love and power of Jesus out. “
This is not only a very encouraging word, but a very humbling one. It never really just is about one person, one church or one ministry. I’m thankful for the prayers and intercessions of others that are producing the move of God that we have been experiencing. I believe that we are all going to the next level of transformation in this territory!

  • A GLOBAL IMPARTATION

I love dreaming God’s dreams, even when they are challenging. It’s even more challenging when God brings correction in a dream or a night vision. While correction is a word and a concept that usually has a negative connotation, the Word teaches that the Lord disciplines those He loves, and prunes us so that we may bear more fruit.

During the night of March 31 I had a dream that was very brief, but very vivid and strong. The wife of a well-known prophetic minister came to me and declared, “Your vision is too small!” When she declared this, I was standing in front of a sign with the name of the church on it – ‘Harvest Fellowship’. When she spoke the word to me, the sign immediately changed to read ‘Global Harvest Church’.

I contacted my friend Ward Coe soon afterwards. Ward and his wife Marcy are very gifted in dream interpretation. He shared the following with me:

“This is a self-condition and prophetic dream. Prophetically, the Lord is releasing new life into you. This is changing your perspective and bringing a whole new identity to you and consequently your church.”

Additionally, Ward felt that the ‘name change’ in the dream further reflected a change in our identity and spiritual DNA because of our recent alignment as a ministry with Global Awakening.

All of this challenges me to continue to ask the Lord to expand my vision and perspective so that they align with His. My constant prayer is that I pursue the Father’s heart and His agenda. May He further give us all a “Global” impartation to propel us into a place of greater fruit and effectiveness!

  • A New Day of Signs and Wonders

A New Day of Signs and Wonders

After spending November 11-14 in Abilene, TX for Global Awakening’s School of Healing and Impartation, I am more convinced than ever that we as believers must see the Kingdom of God released through healings, signs and wonders.  How could I not be changed after seeing hundreds of healings over the course of four days?  The instructors in the school were Randy Clark, Bill Johnson, Joe McIntyre and Will Hart.  Some are better known than others, but I appreciate the ministry gifts and anointing in each one of them and the impartation I received from the Spirit of God.

One of the things God has spoken prophetically over and over to Harvest Fellowship is that we are to be a place of healing – spirit, soul and body.  God prophetically spoke months ago in a message through our friend Bill Faught (www.legacyofworship.com) that Harvest Fellowship would be a pool where people can even come and wash themselves from the wounds of church hurts and splits.

I believe Ardmore, OK has a calling to be a city of healing as well.  I rejoice in the healing move that another church in our city, Crystalrock Cathedral, has been experiencing.  As the Church as a whole in Ardmore, we must all rejoice in what God is doing in our city!  Lord, let it increase!  May we be people of His Presence!

As a church we have done some training in praying for the sick in our very early days.  I’m thankful for the impartation I received from both Ron Sawka and Gaius Lawrence in my years in Japan that equipped me to be able to train others to move in the prophetic and miracles.  However, we as a body must press in even more to see this happen and create a culture of healing.  Jesus said in Luke 9:23, “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.”  As anyone who has ever pursued this calling knows, there is a price involved in praying for the sick.

If you are willing to pursue this with me, our training on Wednesday nights is going to shift from prophetic ministry to raising up healing teams.  I believe it has been essential these last months that we have spent time learning to flow in the gifts of the Spirit.  Now is the time to build on that foundation so that we can, like Paul, fully preach the Gospel of Christ in the power of signs and wonders, in the Power of the Spirit (Romans 15:18-19).
